I replaced my old saw 025 18" bar mainly because my brother had a lot of wood cutting that involved a much larger more powerful saw for my needs and his.
No problem cutting white, red oaks with diameters reaching 36" to 48" widths.
Overall been quite happy with this saw, just bought MS 290 most recently to replace my 18 year old 025.
Bad ass saw plenty of power, cost for me was about $150.00 dollars less than MS 660 model with "28 bar and chain. Owned saw for past 3 years.
This saw is not for the weak person you must hold on to it it can and will get away from you if you are not carefull.
Used product for 3+ Years
Use good fuel and mix correctly, my first year running it had to replace the piston and head cost was high but now I know better.
Furthermore using good fuel is not just the fix it is ethonal issues.
Dam EPA I think most of us can agree EPA are liers if they conducted testing.
