Summary:
This saw would be perfect for the farmer with an acerage with poplar and small willow and spruce/ pine under 25cm dia. Any thing larger or using this saw on a production fall would be useless. Great to clear underbrush.
Strengths:
Very light weight, good second saw, great on small diameter trees (under 8 inches) great for pre cleaning felled areas (access and egress trails). Great fuel economy, extremely durable. So -so limbing saw
Weaknesses:
no power on any major falling cuts, useless to buck large diameter trees. lower engine mounts (anti-vibe) fall out very easily. Quick non-tool fuel and oil caps are useless, husky has it there.

Summary:
Saw has look and feel of quality, but some features need improvement.
Strengths:
Good starting saw
Light and easy to handle
Decent power
Bar very durable
Weaknesses:
Bar oil reservoir cap annoying to reinstall
Motor mounts/anti-vibration system needs to be more durable
Some times difficult to get good carburetor adjustment
Bear claw/tree spike/feller dawg almost useless on large trees

Summary:
Overall nice saw, but for the money, you shouldn't have to turn wrenches after less than three years.
Strengths:
Quick Starter. Reliable
Weaknesses:
Got the pro model for the anti-vibration. Paid the extra money, but it ended up being the weak point. Had a bolt bust off with saw less than three years old.

Summary:
great saw with 16" bar,
try to get the rsc chain and es bar
and get the model without the decomp if you can find
Strengths:
light,
fast,
powerful,
low vib,
Reliable
Weaknesses:
don't like the decomp valve on a small saw (something else to break),
the rsc chain and es bar should be standard instead of the e bar with anti kb chain,

Summary:
18" bar with a good chain and i love this saw. Switched over from a Husq 51 and if you liked the 51 you'll LOVE this saw. I've had plenty of power felling trees.
Strengths:
Reliable, excellent working saw. Low vibration, good weight, good power.
Weaknesses:
Oil/Gas filler caps are a pain sometimes, pay attention when putting it on or you'll have gas/oil all over your chaps.

Summary:
18" bar on it and I LOVE this saw. If you're using a saw frequently throughout the week than this is the saw. Yeah the gas/oil caps are a pain but once you got them figured out you're fine.
Strengths:
Reliable, tough, goodweight and Low vibration. Plenty of power dropping trees.
Weaknesses:
Oil and Gas filler caps are sometimes a pain to get on. Have come off a few times on me when they're not on correctly. A bit pricey for the everyday homeowner but I would sacrafice a thing on this saw to make it cheaper.

Summary:
You'll fall in love with this saw, be sure (like above) to get an 18" bar with a good chain, none of that low-kickback stuff either. The saw runs great and is built well for everyday use, and well I use it pratically everyday. Pay attention to the oil and gas caps and you'll be fine.
Strengths:
Reliable, tough, low vibration, and plenty of power. Easy to control and start.
Weaknesses:
Once I got the oil and gas caps down pat everything was fine. The price is a bit steep for a home owner but I'd hate to see Stihl make ANY changes to this saw to make it cheaper. It's worth every penny.

Summary:
Bought a MS361 and it is a whole another world of performance!
Tons of torque from low to high rpms. Also buying a MS460 for larger trees,
spend the xtra money and get at least the MS361.
Strengths:
lighweight, easy starting,tough.
Weaknesses:
NO low end torque!, this thing must be wide open to really be effective.

Summary:
This saw should last along time.
Strengths:
Great saw. Light weight, low vibration, good power. Works like a dream for cutting firewood and large soft poplar. Saw has a quality feel to it. Chain tensioning, air filter, and sparkplug access are all simple and quick.
Weaknesses:
A little week to run a full 3/8" chain, allthough a 3/8" Skiptooth works well.

Summary:
Excellent choice for an entry-level saw in the 50cc power category, I run a 32:1 mix instead of 50:1
Strengths:
Durable/dependable saw, excellent value and quality, fairly light weight, adjustable oiler, sips fuel, easy starts, more than enough power for what I do most of the time, does any thing I ask it to around the home/property and then some. This little thing eats wood. If you are condsidering a cheaper saw from one of the Home Improvement stores I advise you to choose wisely, this saw is worth the few extra $$$ WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!
Weaknesses:
None yet. Tooless caps I like but take some getting used to, need to make sure they are seated right or you will have bar oil/fuel spills.

Summary:
i should have gotten a Husky!
Strengths:
great little saw when it runs
Weaknesses:
i spemd more time working on the POS carb then running the thing. Needle valve always sticks. need to tear the carb apart every third outing. I've lost more value in time than I spent on this saw, which was pricey for what it is.
