Summary:
I've used this way more than I thought I would. I've tilled new flower beds and our small 6x20 garden. I got the edger tine for a bit more, like $20. Thats well worth the cost given that it can do another chore. It does a nice job edging once you get a good handle on it. The only draw back is that you can only edge straight down and not at an angle like a dedicated edger can.

Strengths:
Very portable, easy to use, fits up on the wall in my garage.

Weaknesses:
Does not till very deep and does jump around alot. This is more of a small bed tiller. I would never tackle a larger garden with it.
