Summary:
This is a great and versatile tool for all kinds of yard work. Highly recommended.
Strengths:
Starts easily, runs well, works great! Reliability and service from the dealership are big pluses.
Weaknesses:
None so far. Was missing a screw on the deflector, but this was an assembly oversight from the dealer. Unit and attachments are somewhat costly, but you get what you pay for.

Don't get he easy start/ergo model!
Strengths:
Versatility.
Weaknesses:
Bought the "easy start" because I thought my wife might use it. After 2 years it wouldn't start. Multiple repairs. Continues to cut off and won't start. The quick start model apparently has this problem. Found out after purchase that it is nicknamed the "no start" model

For what it is designed to do It work's great .
Strengths:
For a Home owner this is a pretty decent unit . This is not for a landscaper . I clean the air filter , I keep fuel stabilizer in the fuel can and I let it idle after each use for a minute or two so it can cool down a little , I've had no issues In the 5 years of ownership .
Weaknesses:
A little too short if your over 6'and a little on the heavy side for long use .

Summary:
Ok unit. I ended up switching it out for the KM-110 and has more than enough power to edge now.
Strengths:
Ok unit for Home use
Weaknesses:
Had trouble starting it everytime I used it. The unit was at the dealer 4 times in 2 months. The KM-55 does not have enough power to push the edger. It bounces and vibrates when edging for more than 5 feet. Has really short reach for taller people and is heavy for long periods of use

Summary:
I hate this thing. I am going to take it back to the dealer where I nought it and throw it through the window...Oh yeah!

Attachments are useful
Weaknesses:
I always have problems starting this machine and keeping it started. Unlesss you plan to use this every day and keep it in top running order, don't waste your money.
