Summary:
Great trimmer, very heavy duty, performance is awesome. Stihl makes good stuff, I don't think anyone ever questions that. Another great product to add to their catalog.
Strengths:
I also like this trimmer, but I think I'll add a bit more than my friend here. I bought this just as the new 4-Mix platform started shipping. I had the chance to demo one out of a Stihl trailer full of equipment. I was very impressed with how the engine ran, it did not take much for me to get upgrade fever. The new engines are much nicer than their 2-cycle counter parts. It runs more quiet and has this snappy powerful feeling to it.
Weaknesses:
They do recomend running a synthetic 50:1 mix now. The oils is only a few cents more expensive, but I did have a few of the old ones on hand that I had to throw out. 89 octane is also reomended, but I've just used 87 out of habbit and never had an issue.
