Summary:
I won the SH 85 which the only difference between the BG 85 and the SH 85 is that the SH has a blade on the fan wheel that mulches the leaves vacuumed. Great blower and great vacuum. Wont find a better product! Stihl wins again!

Good Power, easy to start, love the auto choke, love the shredder vac attatchment. starts on 2nd pull. great blower/vac!!

Very pleased.
Strengths:
I have a Echo PB 230LN which I bought new and am very pleased. However, I picked this Stihl up at a local pawn shop for $100. It starts VERY easily and runs very smooth. The air force is stronger than the Echo.

Don't know of any at this time.

I have the newer BG86 model. I no longer have to rake as much when the big leaf maples start to shed. I made a good purchase.
Strengths:
Starts real easy. Anti vibration is a plus. Runs suprisingly strong.
Weaknesses:
Spark arrestor had coked up. I correctly mix stihl ultra and premium gas. The tech who looked at it said that I need point the machine up and full throttle at the end of the session to burn it off. I guess that I will pull it off every now and then and clean it with a torch.
