The rapid acceleration 56.5 cc engine and excellent balance make this saw perfectly suited for logging where there is a lot of limbing work. High power, low weight and excellent balance in a compact and streamlined housing make it both extremely easy to handle and effective. As you would expect, the saw has all the advantages of the 2100 generation such as turbo air cleaning, anti-vibration carburettor, side-mounted chain tensioner, decompression valve and quick-release cylinder cover. The saw also has a special low temperature catalytic converter.

Summary:
Very pleased and proud to get a 357XP for HALF the price as orange!

Strengths:
super powerful, light, quick, and easy to handle. This is the same saw as a Husky 357XP. Nobody has a red one.

Weaknesses:
lack of servicing dealers means you must ship (usually) when it breaks. Is factory spec'd with .325 chain and a 16" bar, a real weak combo in my book when compared to the 357XP which will run up to a 24" bar spinning 3/8 chain.

Summary:
This is the best saw for the weight I've used. It's a bit pricey, imo, but tuned up properly, and with an 18" bar, I'd use this saw over any other for most of my cutting.

Strengths:
Fast! I've had this saw 4 yrs now, used it to cut 8+ cords a year. I can still outcut my friends who mave MS361's. Seems light, and the antivibe is the best I've run across, even smoother than my Jred 2150. I've had no problems with the saw, only done routine maintenance (fuel filter and plug once a year, clean air filter, sharpen chain as needed.

Weaknesses:
I really can't think of any. I was a bit worried about the choke assembly when I got it, but it seems to be tougher than it looks. I did manage to put a crack in the chain brake when my cousin threw a log in on top of it, but that really isn't something that should be a problem in normal usage.

Summary:
Worth spending the extra bucks to get a 'real' saw- you get what you pay for, and here you get a wood cutting beast!

Strengths:
High revving, fast cutting, great quality saw. For running an 18 or 20 inch bar for mid sized felling and bucking, this saw is great. Light, balanced, slim, reliable. I also have to comment that our dealer is excellent, really knowledgable and helpful in steering me to the tool I needed, and with aftersales, service and parts I need- which is why Jonsered only sell through small servicing dealers. (Anonymous above didn't use a dealer so it must have been used hence the lack of a local dealer.) Overall I could not be happier!

Weaknesses:
None to date. A little worried by the Husqvarna 'twin' aspect, but I've found the Jonsereds I've encountered to be better built, the Husky seems yo be a cheaper made and MORE EXPENSIVE version of the Jonsered!!! But the Jonsered has been great.
