Thanks to M.C.'s so called "deal", I bought this saw instead of a leaking stihl. And the speed limit in Utica 30, not 48.

Its not a stihl. I don't need a John Deere or a Remington to make up for the lack of power that a stihl saw doesn't have. Husqvarna's saws don't require me to have big muscles to run them.

Weaknesses:
M.C. doesn't own one, but he will.

If a stihl does not have a lack of power doesn't that mean it has an abundance of power? How can a fellow stihl owner talk so bad about such a good product? I guess J.R just wasn't ready to step up to the big league's.

Weaknesses:
It weighs so much you probably will be crapping muscle after an hours use, and then you might be able to man up and run a big Deere or Remington.

Summary:
Solid saw. Good for firewood, or falling small/medium trees. I had a used one, and ran it for just over a year. I have many other saws, Stihl and Husky. MS261, MS441, had an MS460, had an AV041, have a 395XP, and a 3120XP. The 385 was a reliable, strong mid/large saw. Don't listen to anyone who says otherwise.

Strengths:
The larger Husky XP's will run forever, under the worst abuse.

Weaknesses:
They are more difficult to work on than Stihls (my opinion0, but still worth owning if you spend anytime in the woods.
