Summary:
Awesome chainsaw, best I ever owned. Hasn't let me down in 2 years. It's great to finally have a chainsaw that I can pull off the shelf, put fluids in, follow the start instructions, have it started within 2-3 pulls, and I'm ready to go to work. The only thing better could be an electric start.

Strengths:
Starts immediately (follow the printed start instructions TO THE LETTER and take care to clean your chainsaw thoroughly after each use). Runs great. Cuts awesome. Vibration mechanism absorbs a LOT of vibration. Easy to maintain.

Weaknesses:
Slot for foot in handle (for starting) could be slightly larger, I can barely get the toe of my boot in there.

Summary:
I have used heavier saws and lighter saws and this saw really covers all the bases.

Strengths:
I have the 345e version and it is very similiar to the 345. Great power to weight ratio at a reasonable cost. I use the saw with an 18" bar and chain and it has plenty of power for falling and cutting. Easy to start and very reliable.

Weaknesses:
It is loud, but all good strong saws are.

Summary:
This home-owner has used the crap out of this saw. Fell over 60+ huge pine trees, cedar trees and Oaks. This size saw has all you need. You'll be glad you picked a Husq.

Strengths:
Easy to start - Typically 1 or 2 pulls when cold, just one pull after warm-up. Descigned very well, easy to clean!

Weaknesses:
None realy, however after 7+ years the coil died. After 4-5 pulls, I knew something was not right. Thankfully due to the nice design, I was able to check that the kill switch was OK. Presumed it to be the coil, bought one for used off ebay for $20 ($85 new). Installed in less that 15 min. Hopefully I'm good for another 7+ years... or more! Even with this small issue, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Husq.
