Summary:
GREAT MACHINE! The little boys/girls that wrote the first couple of reviews for this trimmer did not own,use or even see this trimmer. They must of been a relitive of sthil co. {Stihls are junk by the way, good for a couple seasons then are unreliable} This Husky trimmer actually is a step up from mine. mine is 223L. Everythings the same eccept,the 326LX has the steel drive shaft were the 223L has the cable driveshaft. the 326LX has a very small un-noticable higher hp rating because of this. The difference really comes in the attachment area. the cable model {223L} only allows a couple options for blades. the 326LX has more blade capabilities.
This trimmer has a very reliable motor that will start very very easy for yrs. to come. If you dont plan on using attachments then look at the {223L HUQVARNA} its the same as this one but considerbly cheaper priced. Both are very well ballanced machines. Held both in my hands. I also have a review on the 223L model. Also avoid the 128ld/lx husqvarna trimmer as they are really poulan pro. looked at parts breakdown for model 128 husqvarnas and it shows poulan motor. I returned mine as soon as I found this out. had it 1 week! poulan pro is not a bad trimmer, I just wasnt going to pay 200.00 for one. I felt this was bad buisness on behalf of Husqvarna and believe me I let them know.
Only other Co. I would consider would be Echo. All the Echo's were heavier than this model. {much heavier}. higher priced too.
Strengths:
Starts on second pull every time. {cold} {follow directions}.very light weight,has long reach shaft,large trimmer head. All around best trimmer for the money.
Weaknesses:
champion plug {needs NGK}
NO AUTOMATIC CHOKE.
Used product for 30-Days
