Summary:
So far I am very happy with this saw. I paid $265.00 at Home depot. I didn't want to buy on-line for fear of a 'used' or damaged unit. I suppose you could find it cheaper, but I wanted to be sure it was brand new. It set up in mimutes and started immediately. This is a pretty powerfull saw for a homeowner and maybe more than what is needed for trimming. I'm hopefull I'll get many years of use out of this saw.

Strengths:
Very Powerful. Very easy starting and great features- the easy access air filter and the adjustable automatic oiler are terrific. I also like the low cost of new chains and air filter. I cut 5 to 6 cords a year and my old Stihl is on its last legs. This Echo was over $150 less than a comparable Stihl. I went with the Echo since I have been happy with other Echo products that have been very dependable.

Weaknesses:
So far I have had no problems. However, I have only used the saw less than five hours.

Summary:
With carb adjustment a excellent saw

Strengths:
It's a nice well built saw with good power.

Weaknesses:
Carb needs to be reset from the factory to get full power, cuts times went from 13 seconds to 8 second with a simple carb adjustment, was extremly lean from the factory

Summary:
Great saw, even better compared to my brothers Stihl saw.

Strengths:
The CS-370 is a great saw for the price. I purchased it at Home Depot, Avon MA 12-29-10. It's a real plus to go from a 16" to 18" with the same saw. Easy start and lighter than my Craftsmen 18". Highly recommended. It was great for clearly some down trees we had downed from the last storm.

Weaknesses:
None found so far.

Summary:
I am very pleased with my purchase, and expect to continue as a loyal Echo customer. Their products just seem to work well right from the start. I'm three good ones out of three, so I can only share with you my experiences. The difference in price paid for good equipment is well worth it.

Strengths:
Out of the box, started on the third pull. Initial set up was excellent, the bar was tight, and adjusted. I may need to adj. the carb once broken in, but this unit was ready to go from day one. I have two other Echo products, and I expect that this saw will be just as good as they are. Plenty of powerful for just about anything I would ever need.

Weaknesses:
None so far. This saw is a little pricy at $269.00, but a 10% off coupon from Lowes came in handy, and saved me a bit, and paid the sales tax.

Summary:
Unless the saw is simply too small to fit your needs(like if you are a pro who is felling large trees) or you are expecting something unreasonable (like if this is your first saw and you thought the chain never needs sharpening)I can't imagine anyone being unhappy with this saw. DO NOT be tempted to try to "save" $100 on a Poulan or Homelite. The ECHO at $260 is a better deal than a Poulan or Homelite at $160, or $60!

Strengths:
Powerful, well-made, lightweight, smooth, quiet, reliable, reasonably priced, ECHO parts are readily available and reasonably priced, I LOVE that little air filter.

Weaknesses:
The carb was set so lean from the factory it hardly ran, an emmissions thing I suspect...an easy 30-second fix for anyone with the most basic knowledge of anything mechanical. Also, even with the carb properly adjusted mine's still a tad cold-blooded and needs to idle for 30 seconds after a cold start before opening the throttle. Again, hardly a big deal as you should let a cold saw idle for 30 seconds before use anyway.
